Tiara Scott joined Jarrod Olson's coaching staff in July of 2026.
Scott most recently served two years as a graduate assistant coach at Central Washington University where the Wildcats made it to the program's first-ever DII West Regional Championships in 2024 and would host the West Regionals again in 2025. Scott helped spearhead the defensive development of the team with the team ranking third in points allowed per game at 57.2 in 2025-26. Scott's overall record with the team during her time was 48-15.
During her playing career, Scott played for the Sacramento State Hornets and the Cal State LA Golden Eagles. At Cal State LA, Scott helped the team reach its first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2022 and would later help them to their second berth in 2023 as a coach. Scott played in only eight games due to injuries, averaging four points and two assists per game. At SAC State, Scott finished 7th all time in the program's history in assists with 280 and averaged over four per game for her career. Scott scored a career high 29 points in a win over Illinois in 2018-19. She would average 8.6 ppg and 4.2 apg during her time in Sacramento and led the team in total assists and apg in just 21 games as a junior.
Prior to her college career, Scott played high school basketball at St. Anthony HS in Long Beach, CA and was a three-time all-Del Rey League first teamer.
