MEDIA SERVICES
California Baptist University sports information office is available throughout the year to accommodate any media requests. Any and all questions should be directed to Sammi Sheppard or Andrew Shortall, CBU's sports information directors.
CREDENTIALS
Request for credentials should be made directly to Sammi Sheppard (ssheppard@calbpatist.edu). The request should be made at least 24 hours prior to the start time of the respective game. They can be picked up at the general ticket window prior to the contest. All credentials are intended for working media only.
GAME SERVICES
All media will be provided with a game program, rosters, media guides and other information as requested. Statistics will be available at halftime and at the conclusion of the game. They may also be requested at any other point during the contest if time allows. Included in the final box will be a play-by-play as well as individual and team statistics. Internet and phone lines are available courtside and in the baseball/softball press boxes and in the athletic office after the games. A fax machine is also available in the sports information office.
PHONE/INTERNET LINES
Phone and internet lines are available courtside and in the baseball/softball press boxes. Also, the gym has guest wireless access for a limited usage time. The phone/internet lines are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Permission to broadcast and any additional arrangements must be secured from the sports information office.
POST-GAME PROCEDURE
At the conclusion of each game and after a brief “cooling-off” period, coaches and players from both teams will be made available to the media. There is currently no media room. All post-game interviews will take place in a location designated by the sports information staff. Additional interview requests should be made through the sports information staff.
PARKING
Parking on the CBU campus is free. A guest pass may be required prior to 5 p.m. and can be obtained at the CBU Campus Safety guard booth at the main entrance.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Those persons requesting photo credentials will receive a photo-specific credential. It must be visible at all times and is good for access to the field/court level and press box. No photographers are allowed without the proper credentials obtained beforehand.
