Schneider Steps Down

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — California Baptist University head men's volleyball coach Wes Schneider has resigned, as announced Wednesday by Dr. Micah Parker, Director of Athletics.
Over the past three seasons, Schneider led the Lancers to a 26-59 overall record and 16-54 record in the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF). This past year, CBU finished with a 6-22 overall record and an 11th-place finish in conference with a 2-20 MPSF mark.
In 2014, the Lancers finished the year with a 4-23 overall, 2-22 conference record. The year before, CBU went 16-14 overall and 12-12 in league action in its first season as a member of the MPSF. The Lancers went on to take sixth in the 13-team conference.
A national search will begin immediately.
