
Fuller To Spearhead Lancers Marketing Team

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — Just about a year away from the California Baptist University Event Center, Director of Athletics Dr. Micah Parker announced Micah Fuller will spearhead the athletics marketing campaign.
"Micah comes to CBU with a wealth of experience in marketing and sales," said Dr. Parker of his new Associate Athletic Director for Marketing and Media Relations. "He understands the mission of our athletic department. His passion and skills will be a great asset as we move into the event center and continue to build the Lancer brand."
Fuller brings 24 years of marketing and sales experience after serving as the Senior Vice President and Partner at the Urban Sports and Entertainment Group. He co-founded the nation's largest multicultural multimedia NCAA sports marketing firm, managing the development, event management and marketing rights for 22 NCAA schools, 28 NCAA conference championships and two NCAA conferences.
At the Urban Sports and Entertainment Group, Fuller was responsible for managing all aspects of revenue development, ticketing, sponsorships and media partnerships. He established more than 100 marketing partnerships with national and regional clients and implemented ticketing/hospitality/ancillary revenue strategies to boost attendance at championships.
"I am humbled and blessed to join California Baptist University Athletics," said Fuller. "This is an amazing time to join the Lancer family. I want to thank the CBU leadership team, including Dr. Ronald L. Ellis, Kent Dacus, and Dr. Parker for this opportunity. I grew up in the area and its great to come back home."
Fuller got his bachelor's degree in public relations from the University of North Carolina – Charlotte. He will start at CBU on April 4.
