CBU put together a wild ninth-inning rally in game one Thursday. The Trailblazers took an 8-4 lead into the final inning, but the Lancers loaded the bases with no outs on a John Glenn single, walk and hit by pitch.

Consecutive one-out singles from Andrew Bash and Ryan Mota made it a two-run deficit. Ryan Williams nearly gave CBU the lead with a long drive to left field, but Dixie State made the catch deep on the warning track to make it a one-run game. A wild pitch brought home the tying run.

Dixie State came back for its second walk-off win of the series after a leadoff single, sacrifice bunt and RBI single.

The Trailblazers also scored the first three runs of the game before CBU got on the board in the third inning. Angelo Capolupo and Luke Navigato both hit one-out singles before a walk to D.J. Porter loaded the bases and a wild pitch scored the Lancers' first run.

Three more runs in the bottom of the third increased Dixie State's lead to 6-1. Three-straight singles from Williams, Nick Plaia and Harrison Spohn (RBI) to lead off the fourth scored CBU's second run in the fourth.

A Porter single and walks to Bash and Williams loaded the bases with two outs, and Plaia came up with the clutch two-run single to make it a 6-4 deficit. The Trailblazers scored two more runs in the seventh to set up the dramatic ninth inning. Bash (2-for-4) and Plaia (2-for-2, three walks) both had two hits in the game.

The Lancers trailed 7-3 going into the fifth inning of the final game on Thursday, but turned the game around with a six-run outburst. Singles from Porter, Bash and a walk to Tommy Bell loaded the bases. Mota scored two with a double to right field and a grounder from Williams plated another, while an error allowed him to reach, as well.

Kyle Oyama continued to produce, with a pinch-hit single tying the game at 7-7. Plaia scored two more runs with a single to left, while Luke Navigato singled to keep two runners aboard. Porter's second single of the frame set up another run after an error on the play to give CBU a 10-7 lead.

The Trailblazers scored a run in the bottom of the fifth, but a solo homer from Glenn made it 11-8 in the sixth. Another Dixie State run in the bottom of the sixth led to two more Lancer runs in the top of the seventh.

Porter started the final inning of the game with a double, took third on a wild pitch and then came home on a Bash single. An error pushed another run across to make it 13-9 going into the bottom half of the inning.
