Dr. Ellis to be Inducted into Riverside Sport HOF

RIVERSIDE – California Baptist University president Dr. Ronald L. Ellis will be inducted into the Riverside Sport Hall of Fame in May as was announced on Saturday. Ellis is being recognized for his leadership in the community by the RSHOF with his induction into the Class of 2020 in the Contributor category.
Ellis has led CBU through significant growth as an institution since 1994 and spearheaded the advancement of the athletics department from NAIA to NCAA Division II and now NCAA Division I. The Lancers are in the midst of a four-year transition to full DI membership.
The induction ceremony will be held during a gala celebration on Monday, May 18, at 6 p.m. at the Riverside Convention Center. Ticket information will be available on February 17 with additional details available at https://www.riversidesporthalloffame.com/.
