CBU recently launched a weekly social media series that features an uplifting biblical message. The first few messages have been delivered by athletics director Dr. Micah Parker with plans of future messages coming from others within the CBU community. Each message will be released on the @CBULancers Twitter account on Sunday mornings.
The initiative is in support of the athletics department mission statement: Honoring Christ through excellence in Athletics. CBU seeks to provide students with the opportunity to be biblically rooted, academically prepared, globally minded and equipped to serve. The mission of CBU and its athletic department are consistent with developing student-athletes who demonstrate the CBU motto to "Live Your Purpose." The goals reflect a philosophy of excellence both in the classroom and in athletic competition. The Lancers strive to win championships while being consistent in developing Christian leaders, sportsmanship, and maintaining a high graduation rate. CBU will also strive to cultivate school spirit and a culture of pride for the Riverside community.
