RIVERSIDE --- California Baptist University will hit the road one last time this calendar year, as the Lancers will take on No. 8/6 Arizona on Saturday, Dec. 18, at 3 p.m. (PST).
This marks the Lancers' second top-10 opponent they will face on the season as they met No. 8/5 Texas on Nov. 24.

The matchup between the top-ranked Wildcats and the Lancers will be the first meeting between the two programs.
Between 1985 and 2009, the Arizona men's basketball team reached the NCAA Tournament 25 consecutive years. It's the third-longest streak in NCAA history, after Kansas, with appearances from 1990-present, and North Carolina, with 27 consecutive appearances from 1975-2001.
The program dates back to the 1904-05 season with 33 NCAA Tournament appearances, 16 Pac-12 Titles, and seven Pac-12 Tournament Titles.

- The Wildcats are currently 9-0 on the season but face a familiar opponent to the Lancers on Dec. 15 against Northern Colorado. The Lancers beat the Bears, 74-70, on Nov. 21.

- The Wildcats are led by Bennedict Mathurin, Azuolas Tubelis, Christian Koloko, and Kerr Kriisa, as the four players on the team averaging double figures.
- Arizona is ranked first in the NCAA in scoring offense (90.7ppg), scoring margin (+29.0), and assists per game (21.8).
- To go along with the Wildcats' potent offense, they rank fifth in the nation in field-goal percentage defense, holding teams to 35.3 percent.
- Tommy Lloyd was named head coach of the Wildcats on April 14, 2021 after serving as an assistant coach at Gonzaga for the last 22 seasons.
