RIVERSIDE --- California Baptist University returns to action with a home game against North Dakota on Dec. 7 before making the short trek to UC Riverside on Dec. 12 for the Crosstown Showdown.

This week, the Lancers' lone home game is against the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota. It marks a first-time matchup between the two programs.

- North Dakota is 3-6 on the year and 0-4 when playing on the road.
- The Fighting Hawks and the Lancers faced a familiar foe on the season against San Jose State. The Fighting Hawks fell to the Spartans, 76-51, while the Lancers beat the Spartans, 67-66.

The Lancers will make the 8.3-mile trek for the third Crosstown Showdown of the series since the Lancers joined the NCAA Division I ranks. Sunday's game marks just the second time the Lancers will face the Highlanders at UCR in the last 20 years.
Notable Notes:
- The Lancers hold a 2-0 series lead over the Highlanders since joining the DI ranks, with the last win coming on Dec. 4, 2019 in the CBU Events Center.
- The Highlanders are 5-4 on the season and a perfect 3-0 at home.
