The 2021 season will begin without spectators in attendance
RIVERSIDE – Following guidelines from state and local public health officials, California Baptist University athletics has announced a series of safety protocols that will be in place for the start of the men's and women's soccer seasons. Home games will be played at the Championship Soccer Stadium at the Orange County Great Park in Irvine. The 2021 season will begin without spectators in attendance.
Furthermore, the soccer programs will adhere to NCAA guidelines and Western Athletic Conference policies and procedures, including COVID-19 testing protocols, while also operating in alignment with state and local public health officials.
Championship Soccer Stadium will operate with limited access only to include essential staff and personnel, including participating teams. Capacity restrictions will be reviewed on an ongoing basis and adjusted as allowed as public health conditions improve.
HOW TO WATCH GAMES: CBU Athletics has partnered with Tourbeau Sports Group to broadcast all home games being played at the Championship Soccer Stadium this season. Fans are able to watch the video streams for free through the Western Athletic Conference Digital Network. The latest broadcast information and links to live stats will always be listed on the soccer schedule webpages at CBULancers.com.
The WAC Digital Network is available on both your desktop and mobile/tablet devices, as well as for over-the-top (OTT) platforms, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Android TV and Apple TV 4th Gen. The official website of the WAC Digital Network is wacdigitalnetwork.com, while the WAC Digital Network app is available for iOS in the App Store and Android on Google Play. Mobile devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Android will work with the default web browser. Devices should be kept up to date and connected to a reliable data connection for optimal playback. Apple users and owners of an AppleTV device can simply 'throw' the webcast from their iPhone or iPad using the AirPlay feature. Computer users can output their display directly to an HDMI signal if supported; otherwise, a converter may be required. These options may require advance setup and we suggest using an 'On Demand' archive to test prior to watching a live event.
SOCIAL MEDIA: In addition to the coverage of the team at CBULancers.com, it is recommended that fans follow and engage with CBU social media accounts.
