BAKERSFIELD – California Baptist University men's and women's swim teams returned to Bakersfield on Saturday for the annual Roadrunner Invite, where the teams improved on their results from the day before at the CSUB Sprint Classic.
The men led the way for the Lancers, scoring 319 points to secure a second-place finish behind UC Santa Barbara (561), with Cal Poly (296) and the host Roadrunners (278). The women improved one finishing spot from Friday's fifth-place finish, claiming fourth with a score of 212 points. They finished behind the champion Gauchos (517.5), runner-up San Jose State (344.5), and third place UC Davis (256). The list was rounded out by CSU Bakersfield (175) and Cal Poly (105)
