CBU Volleyball Secures Big WAC Road Win at UTA

ARLINGTON - California Baptist University volleyball picked up a key road win, 3-1, at a red-hot UT Arlington in Western Athletic Conference play on Thursday.
Entering the night, UTA had won nine straight matches including three consecutive WAC victories over Grand Canyon, Abilene Christian and Tarleton. The Mavs are now 11-5 overall and 3-1 in the WAC. The Lancers improve to 7-8 on the year and 2-2 in league play with the win (29-27, 13-25, 25-18, 25-18).
Four Lancers finished with double-digit kills: Christine Graf (16), Michalina Rola (13), Cassidy Dennison (13) and Laura Walewska (12). Rola and Dennison posted double-doubles with 16 and 14 digs, respectively. Leah Pease registered 50 assists.
CBU remains on the road for conference competition and will take on Stephen F. Austin on Saturday at 10 a.m. on ESPN+.
