CBU Leads WAC In Fall Learfield Standings for Third Straight Year

RIVERSIDE - California Baptist University athletics is pacing all Western Athletic Conference programs in the Learfield Directors' Cup standings for a third straight year at the end of the Fall season. The Lancers are 45th overall, with the next closest conference opponent, Abilene Christian, checking in at T-115th place. CBU currently ranks third amongst all non-football schools, trailing just Providence (32nd) and Vermont (38th).
CBU totaled its points from three significant national results this past fall, starting with men's cross country earning its highest finish ever at the National Championship race, placing 13th overall. Men's water polo making their return trip to the national stage, and women's soccer's first national tournament berth rounded out the point total for the Lancers.
