HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Rancho Cucamonga High School where he was a team captain. Orta holds the school's 2 mile record for the Big Bear preseason course and was the 2023 MVP during track season. Jacob twice earned a spot on the First Team All-Baseline League for cross country and made the Third Team four times for track.
