• Prepped three varsity seasons at West Torrance (Calif.) where he graduated in 2008
• Was also named all-area and team MVP as a senior
• Ripped a career-high 31 kills in a CIF playoff match against San Clemente

• Also played three years of varsity soccer and helped team finish as the CIF runners-up
• Scored the game-winning goal to clinch the Bay League title
