Took 10th in the 200 butterfly (1:51.59), 12th in the 400 IM (3:59.82) and 20th in the 200 IM (1:51.90) at the WAC Championships... Set a program top-10 time in the 100 butterfly (ninth, 49.13).
TIFFIN UNIVERSITY
Swam two seasons (2018-19 & 2019-20) at Tiffin University in Tiffin, Ohio... Won eight conference titles over two years at the GMAC/MEC Championships, with four each season... Named the conference's Freshman of the Year and Swimmer of the Year in 2019... Swept 200, 400 IM and 200 butterfly both years.
HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at IES Juan de Mairena in Sevilla, Spain where he graduated in 2017... Swam club with Natacion Mairena Del Aljarafe.
PERSONAL
Son of Miguel Angel and Natalia... Has two siblings, Sara and Elena... International business major... Plans to study dentistry in Spain while starting a job at a finance company after graduation... Would also like to develop a company that works with student-athletes from Spain to help them find scholarships... Enjoys music, travel, hiking, skating and languages.
