2020-21
Took 13th in the 200 breaststroke (2:05.79) and 19th in the 100 breaststroke (57.34) at the WAC Championships.
TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY
Swam two seasons at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas in 2017-18 and 2018-19... Placed sixth in the 100 breast (55.26), seventh in the 200 breast (2:01.70) and part of the 200 medley relay team that finished third (1:29.60) at the 2019 Big 12 Championships... Finished eighth in the 200 breast (2:01.37) at the 2018 Big 12 Championships... Part of the 400 medley relay that finished fourth (3:25.77), part of 200 medley relay that placed fourth (134.35), finished second in the 200 breast and finished fifth in the 100 breast (59.19) at the 2019 TYR Fall Classic in Miami... Won 200 medley relay (1:35.47) and 50 breast (27.00) and placed second in the 500 free (4:45.22) in meet vs. Trinity as a sophomore.

Prepped at Morton Ranch High School in Katy, Texas, where he graduated in 2017... Served as Mavericks team captain for three seasons... Swam club with Power for Life.

Son of Charles and Sarah Bennett... Has one sibling, Gabrielle... History major... Plans to join the military after graduation... Enjoys fishing, golfing and hiking... John 3:16 is his favorite Bible verse.
