HIGH SCHOOL: Prepped at Granite Hills High in Apple Valley, Calif., where he swam four varsity seasons for head coach Deborah Deitz, graduating in 2005 ... Was a three-time team MVP ... Won Desert Sky League titles in the 100 free, 200 free relay and the 100 breast as a senior ... Placed eighth in the 100 breast and 10th in the 100 free at the CIF Championships ...
