- Produced team's top-two kills matches, with 24 against Lindenwood and 21 vs. UC San Diego on March 6th

- Played two seasons for the Warriors under coach Richard Blount in 2012 and 2013
- Warriors logged a 26-11, 18-4 South Coast Conference record with Powell on board
- Named El Camino College Male Athlete of the Year as a sophomore after earning South Coast Conference and team MVP awards, in addition to All-Tournament honors
