Began high school attending and playing for Marshall where she and her team won a pair of state championships... transferred to James Madison HS... during her high school career she was a three-time first team All-Conference selection, two-time second team All-Area selection, two-time conference Player of the Year, and reached the 1,000 point marl by her junior season... she was part of three conference championship, regional and sectional winning teams.
