COUGARS UPEND LANCERS

RIVERSIDE, Calif. --- The NAIA's No. 6-ranked Azusa Pacific won all 3 doubles' matches and 5 of 6 singles' matches to post an 8-1 win over No. 18 California Baptist Saturday afternoon in both team's GSAC opener.

With the loss, the Lancers fall to 3-3 overall, 0-1 GSAC. Meanwhile, the Cougars improve to 3-0, 1-1.

The singles' matches were played first, and the Cougars won 5 of them to clinch the match before playing in the doubles' portion. Dunya Wren picked up the Lancers' lone point with a win at No. 3.
