It was the second match against the Argonauts CBU has had on its four-match road trip as the Lancers trailed just three times on the night.
CBU jumped out to quick leads in each set, putting on its most dominating performance in the second set.
After scoring the first three points in the game, CBU kept the pressure on and took a commanding 16-4 lead. CBU hit .467 on 15 kills in the game and had just one error.
The home team Argonauts put up their best challenge out of the gates in the first set, coming back from an 8-2 deficit to pull within one at 12-11. Jelena Dragovic answered with three straight kills and Ingrid Carmona polished off the run with one more to put CBU up 16-11.
NDNU then tied it up late 23-23, but Carmona answered with a kill immediately following her attack error that evened the score. Taylor Parker finished the set off with an ace, one of seven on the night for the Lancers.
Parker had 37 assists in the three set match. Carmona was the only Lancer with a double digit kill total, leading all players with 17 on the night.
Christine Villamayor had 10 kills to lead the Argonauts. Paulina Akiona posted 11 digs, matching CBU's Jessica Kalama for the match high. Kalama also had three aces on the night.
The Lancers hit .313 in the match and had 48 kills to just 34 for NDNU. CBU out-blocked the Argonauts 5-2 in the match.
The Lancers move to 19-9 overall, 11-5 PacWest. NDNU falls to 5-24, 5-11.
