RIVERSIDE, Calif. - California Baptist University men's swim and dive team heads to the NCAA Division II National Championship for the second year in a row, hoping to get its first-ever title in its second year as an eligible Division II program.
ABOUT THE CHAMPIONSHIPS
The four-day meet will be held in Indianapolis, Ind., at theIUPUI Natatorium, beginning Tuesday with diving prelims.
TICKET INFO
Single-day tickets for the preliminary rounds are $12 for adults with back chair seating, $10 for adults with bleacher seating and $8 dollars for students and senior citizens. Single session tickets for the finals are $15 for adults with back chair seating, $12 for adults with bleacher seating and $10 for students and senior citizens. All-session tickets for the event are $30 for students and senior citizens, $60 for general admission and $70 for reserved seating. Tickets can be purchased on the NCAA website.

LANCER NOTES
CBU swim and dive head coach Rick Rowland takes 13 athletes to the championship to represent the Lancers, looking to improve their record from last year where they finished 20th overall. Spearheading the team is Josh Hanson, who was named swimmer of the meet at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championships and freshman diver Zach Parry, who picked up Diver of the Meet honor after a stellar performance on the 1-meter and 3-meter events
Elijah Barrows, Chaffin Blake, Robert Griffith, Nikolay Klepikov, Alexis Ohmar and Brent Teroaka will also compete in the event, in various freestyle races and other stroke events, with Spencer Shore, Andrew Denton and Derek Wedel as alternates for relays. Zachary Mullins and Kendall Rummell also join Parry on the diving boards. Barrows and Hanson are returning DII All-Americans, looking to build on last year's successes.
