CBU Garners PacWest-High All-Academic Honorees

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — California Baptist University placed a conference-high 156 student-athletes on the 2014-15 Academic All-PacWest teams, released Tuesday, marking the second year in a row the Lancers grabbed the most distinctions.
A total of 1,488 student-athletes were recognized for their academic efforts during the 2014-15 season. Athletes must have achieved at least a cumulative 3.0 grade-point average and be eligible for participation or practice in their sport to receive Academic All-PacWest recognition.
The Lancer softball team garnered the most amount of Academic All-PacWest honors, with a total of 19 players. Not far behind was women's cross country and track with 18 and women's soccer placed a third-best 17 athletes on the honor roll.
