AZUSA, Calif. — On the first day of the Bryan Clay Invitational, hosted by Azusa Pacific, two California Baptist University runners had personal-best days.
Both Jonah Ross and William Ernst ran their 5,000-meter races in their fastest times yet this season. Ernst clocked in at 15 minutes, 28.48 seconds, while Ross crossed the finish line in 15:45.27.
The duo will look to continue to improve on their times in hopes of returning to APU's track for the PacWest Championship Meet in two weeks, April 28-29.
CBU continues at the Bryan Clay Invitational Friday, while also running at the Beach Invitational at Long Beach State and the Mt. SAC Relays at Cerritos College.
