
WBB Preview: Wolverines and Redhawks Visit for Two Matinee Games

RIVERSIDE – Women's basketball will face off with Western Athletic Conference foes Utah Valley and Seattle U in the CBU Events Center this weekend. The pair of games mark the midpoint of league play.
Conference is wide-open, as five of the nine teams already carry at least a pair of loses. The Lancers are looking to jumpstart a second-half campaign with the regular-season title still well within sight.
CBU has gotten a full-team effort in the past few weeks of WAC play, boasting five different leading scorers in their past six games.

Utah Valley had been in sole possession of first place in the WAC until two straight loses put it in a tie for the top spot with Kansas City. The Roos and the Wolverines have played once this season with Utah Valley winning the first game convincingly, 62- 41.
Utah Valley has the second highest field goal percentage in the conference at 41.5, trailing the top mark owned by Grand Canyons at 42.6.
