WBB Preview: Lancers to Defend Home Against Warriors

RIVERSIDE – California Baptist women's basketball gets a break from WAC play this week but will not lay dormant as they welcome the Westcliff Warriors to the CBU Events Center for a Thursday night clash.
When the two teams met last season, CBU walked off the court with the most points scored and largest margin of victory in program history as the scoreboard read 133-43 at the final buzzer. The Warriors were held to single-digit scoring outputs in two of the four quarters while the Lancers never scored less than 30 in a frame.
The game also produced the most steals (27), assists (35), made field goals (51), and made three-pointers (20) in a single CBU women's contest.

Westcliff comes into the game with an 11-16 record, most recently defeating the University of Saint Katherine 82-62 on Friday, Feb. 7th. Lauren Davis leads the Warriors in all three major categories this season, averaging 15.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
