BROOKINGS – California Baptist University volleyball is geared up for the second week of competition in the 2021 season, as the Lancers will jump back on a plane to take part in the South Dakota State Tournament this weekend.
CBU is coming off its first win of the season, a sweep over Chattanooga on Saturday (25-18, 25-23, 25-18). The Lancers lost their first two matches of the season at the Georgia State Invitational to Memphis (25-19, 25-23, 25-19) and Georgia State (25-17, 25-22, 25-23), as they open the year with a 1-2 record.
The Lancers will be tested by two new teams this week in host South Dakota State and Montana.
