RIVERSIDE - California Baptist University star guard Chloe Webb has officially declared for the upcoming 2024 WNBA Draft. Webb finished her collegiate career with a bang, averaging career highs across the board during her senior season and ranking among the best nationally. Webb could be CBU's first draftee and looks to add to a growing list of Lancers who have played professionally after CBU, joining Lancer greats like Cassidy Mihalko, Kamille Diaz, Ane Olaeta, Georgia Kehoe, Sila Finau, and Georgia Dale.
Webb finished the regular season ranked 14th in Division I in points per game, scoring 21.1 on average. At the time of this posting, there were 89 players declared for the 36 picks in the draft. Of that group, only five averaged more points per game than Webb. She is also the only player in the draft to average over 20 points and eight rebounds per game, a big plus in terms of Webb's draft viability.
The WNBA Draft will happen on Monday, April 15, at 4:30 p.m. Pacific. It will be aired nationally on ESPN and ESPN+ from the Brooklyn Academy of Music in New York.
