RIVERSIDE, CA--- After two standout seasons with the California Baptist University Lancers, Hunter Goodrick has signed a professional contract to play for BC Komarno of the Slovakian Basketball League.
Goodrick averaged eight points and seven rebounds per game over his two years in Riverside while starting 49 of the 62 games. Goodrick was a force on the glass in his final season, leading the team and the Western Athletic Conference in rebounding at 8.5 per contest. Goodrick posted nine double-digit rebounding performances and recorded three double-doubles. Goodrick's prowess on the glass had him in the top 60 in the nation in rebounding average, total rebounds, and offensive rebounding. Paired with his teammate Yvan Ouedraogo, Goodrick was part of a duo that ranked fourth in the nation in rebounding average by a frontcourt pairing.
Goodrick accumulated 845 points, 781 rebounds, and 186 assists during his four-year college career, spending his first two seasons with South Dakota and his final two with the Lancers. Goodrick has cemented himself in the DI record books for the Lancers, ranking second in rebounding and in the top 10 in games played, assists, blocks, minutes, and field goals made.
Goodrick will join a BC Komarno squad that finished fourth in the SBL this past season and features former UC Santa Barbara standout Zach Harvey and one of the scorers in the SBL in Amit Ebo. Goodrick has previously played for the Australian Senior National Team, the U19 National Team and represented Australia at the 2021 FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers.
