RIVERSIDE - California Baptist University women's basketball finally knows the path to defending their Western Athletic Conference title, and it starts with four of their opening six games being played at home in Riverside. With the vacancies left behind from the abrupt departures of Stephen F. Austin and UTRGV, the WAC schedule is just 16 games this season, split evenly with home-and-away matches against remaining league foes.
The Lancers will begin the conference slate and the New Year on the road in Seattle (1/4/25) to take on the RedHawks in the Emerald City. They will return home for a three-game stint, beginning with Utah Valley (1/11/25) and followed by Tarleton (1/16/25) and Abilene Christian (1/18/25).
CBU will have their first of two home-and-away weekends of the season, first making the trek to Orem, Utah, to take on the Wolverines of Utah Valley (1/23/25) before returning home to face the Thunderbirds of Southern Utah (1/25/25). A single game will close out the month of January for CBU when traveling to Abilene Christian (1/30/25).
The team will remain on the road to start February, visiting Southern Utah (2/6/25) before heading to Phoenix for the always anticipated first matchup of the season against Grand Canyon (2/8/25). The second home-and-away week of the season awaits the Lancers after Phoneix, coming home for a game against UT Arlington (2/15/25) before hitting the road again to face longtime foe Utah Tech in St. George (2/17/25).
The home schedule concludes with another three-game stretch in the Fowler Events Center, kicking off with what will likely be a critical Saturday matchup against Grand Canyon (2/22/25). The homestand continues with the final conference matchup against Seattle U (2/27/25) before they leave for the West Coast Conference in 2025-26, and Senior Day will see CBU face off against Utah Tech (3/1/25) to close out the regular season in Fowler.
The regular season will close out with a pair of road contests, which will see the Lancers head to Texas for bouts against Tarleton (3/6/25) and UT Arlington (3/8/25).
All games will be aired on ESPN+ for all domestic fans to enjoy, while local fans are encouraged to support in person. Don't miss any CBU women's basketball action this year. Reserve your seat for the season HERE.
