RIVERSIDE--- The California Baptist University women's basketball team is gearing up for a pair of road trips this week as they take on the Pepperdine Waves and the Boise State Broncos.

The week will begin with a fairly local road trip to Pepperdine to take on the Waves on Wednesday evening. The Waves are 4-2 thus far this season, with wins over Cal State Fullerton, San Jose State, and Northern Arizona, and its only two losses coming to Utah Valley and #16 USC. The Waves have yet to lose at home at the Firestone Fieldhouse with a perfect 2-0 record in the early portion of their season. Guiney leads the team at nearly 16 points per game while shooting almost 50% from the field.
