
Coleman and Johnson Ink Professional Deals

RIVERSIDE --- Former Lancers Kendal Coleman and Javonte Johnson are continuing their basketball journeys, as both recently signed contracts to play professional basketball overseas.
The two Lancers played all 32 games for CBU in the 2024-25 season. Coleman has signed a deal to play for Promitheas Patras B.C. of the Greek Basketball League and FIBA Champions League. Johnson will continue his basketball career for Gimle BBK of the European North Basketball League in Norway.
In two seasons with the Lancers, Coleman appeared in 56 games with 32 starts. He averaged 8.9 PPG and 7.5 RPG. Coleman was the only CBU player to start all 32 games in the 2024-25 campaign, doing so with a season average of 11.2 PPG and 8.3 RPG.
Coleman scored a career-high 32 points against SMU on November 26, 2024, and pulled down a career-best 18 boards in a visit to Utah Tech on March 1, 2025.
Johnson played one season for the Lancers after transferring from Colorado State. In his one year, Johnson appeared in all 32 games, starting 11 of them. He led the Lancers with 51 3-pointers and scored a season-high 20 points against Fresno State on November 27, 2024. He totaled a season-high 9 rebounds against UT Arlington on March 8, 2025.
The 6-6 forward out of Colorado Springs averaged 6.7 PPG to pair with 3.0 RPG.
