RIVERSIDE – California Baptist women's golf announced its 2026-27 schedule, a 10-tournament slate featuring four events in the fall and six in the spring.
The Lancers are coming off a fourth-place finish in the Western Athletic Conference and begin a new chapter this season as they compete in the Big West.
CBU opens the season Sept. 21-22 at the Yellowstone Intercollegiate in Bozeman, Montana, hosted by Montana State.
The Lancers continue their fall schedule Oct. 5-6 at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational in Lakewood, Washington, hosted by Seattle, before making their longest trip east for the Diamante Intercollegiate in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, Oct. 18-20, hosted by Little Rock.
CBU wraps up the fall portion of its schedule Oct. 25-27 at The Clash at Boulder Creek in Boulder City, Nevada, before a three-month break leading into the spring.
The spring campaign begins at home as the Lancers host The SoCal Ryder Cup on Feb. 2. CBU will welcome the field to Riverside for its lone home event of the season as it begins its push toward postseason competition.
Five more tournaments remain before the postseason, including the Molly Collegiate Invitational in San Diego, Feb. 15-16, and the GCU Invitational in Phoenix, March 2-3. Three of those five events will be held in California, while the other two will take place in Arizona.
The postseason begins with the Big West Championship in Somis, California, April 18-20. The Lancers will then compete at the NCAA West Regional May 10-12, with the site to be announced later.
Head coach Marc Machado and the Lancers look to build on last season's success as they begin a new era in the Big West.
"We are excited about the opportunities this schedule gives our TEAM. It's a great mix of traveling and staying close to home, and we're looking forward to competing in two new tournaments for the first time: the Ventura Harbor Collegiate and the MSU SoCal Spring Invitational. A highlight we always look forward to is returning to the Diamante Intercollegiate in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas, during the fall semester.
"Our focus this year is holding true to The Standard. We want to be stronger than our excuses, put the TEAM first, and do the work," said Machado.
"We're excited to have the majority of our squad returning along with one new freshman joining our TEAM. Most importantly, we want to maintain a healthy balance of having fun and competing hard in everything we do together this year."
