Three Lancers Named to Pac-12 Preseason Impact List

RIVERSIDE --- With two days to go until the start of the 2026 men's soccer season, the Pac-12 Conference announced its preseason impact list and coaches' poll results. Three Lancers represent CBU as they enter year one in their new conference home.
The three Lancers selected to the preseason Impact List were also selected to the Hermann Award players to watch list, announced by United Soccer Coaches over the previous two weeks. Midfielder Stavros Charalampous, forward Blake D'Agostino, and defender William Lawson were CBU's selections to the Pac-12 preseason list.
Impact List selections were nominated by head coaches around the Pac-12.
Charalampous enters his senior year after being named the WAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2025. The midfielder was a First-Team All-WAC honoree after scoring a career-high four goals across 1,363 minutes of action.
D'Agostino comes into his junior season after netting ten goals in 2025 and tying the Division I era record of scoring in seven consecutive matches. A First-Team All-WAC selection, D'Agostino was invited to the MLS College Showcase in Arizona, leading to his selection in the second round of the MLS SuperDraft by Sporting Kansas City.
Lawson is entering his second season with the Lancers after also being named First-Team All-WAC in 2025. The defender netted two goals last year, both game-winners, including his 89th-minute goal against San Diego State to clinch the WAC Regular Season Championship for the Lancers.
On top of the announcement of Impact List selections, the Pac-12 also announced the results of the Pac-12 Coaches Poll. Results were voted on by coaches around the conference.
The Lancers are predicted to finish second in the regular season standings behind Oregon State. OSU enters the year ranked No. 19 in the United Soccer Coaches' Poll. The Beavers will visit Riverside on October 7, and that match has been selected to air nationally on ESPNU.

The Lancers will open the season this week with two matches in Durham, NC, beginning with Campbell University on Thursday at noon (PST). CBU will close out the season-opening road trip on Sunday against Duke at 12:30 p.m. (PST). Both matches will be streamed on ESPN+.
