Competed in four different meets as a sophomore... Qualified for WAC All-Academic Team.

2019-20
Swam nine different individual events as a true freshman... Clocked top-five times on the year for CBU in the 1000-yard freestyle (10:04.26, fourth); 1650 free (16:16.74, fourth) and 200 butterfly (1:57.14, fifth)... Took ninth in 1650 free (16:21.25) and 14th in 500 free (4:43.21) and 400 IM (4:17.61) at the UNLV Invite... Named WAC All-Academic.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Stanford Online High in Stanford, Calif., where he graduated in 2019... Swam club with Yucaipa Aquatics... Was a National Meet Qualifier with Yucaipa from 2017-19... Holds team records in 200 butterfly, 800 and 1500 freestyles... Named one of Press-Enterprise's Swimmers to Watch as a freshman.

PERSONAL
Born in Loma Linda but raised in Yucaipa, Calif... Son of Tamara and Daniel Hobson... Has two siblings, Owen and Reagan... Enjoys reading and spending time with family... Christian studies major... Plans to attend graduate school in Biblical studies after graduation... Psalm 139:14 is his favorite Bible verse.
