Description of TEAM Awards:
TEAM CAPTAIN: This title will be voted on by the coaching staff. The TEAM Captain title will be based on leadership qualities/skills, The 4 Pillars, and how a person conducts themselves on and off the golf course.
TEAM MVP: This award is voted on by the current players and coaching staff. The TEAM's Most Valuable Player Award is given to the golfer who has had the best overall golf season.
"P.U.S.H." AWARD: This award is voted on by the current players and coaching staff. PUSH stands for Persist-Until-Something-Happens. The "P.U.S.H." Award (similar to most improved) is given to the golfer who has shown excellent dedication and has consistently worked hard to improve their golf game.
LANCER AWARD: This award is voted on by the current players and coaching staff. The Lancer Award is given to the golfer who has best represented CBU, the CBU Women's Golf Team, and The 4 Pillars (Attitude, Work Ethic, Heart, and Short Game).
MATCH PLAY CHAMPION: Every spring semester, CBU Women's Golf competes in an inter-squad match play tournament to prepare for the Conference Championship. This award is given to the Champion of the match play tournament.
THE TEAM BEHIND THE TEAM: This award is decided by the coaching staff and is given to the person, family, or organization that has provided the most support to the CBU Women's Golf TEAM during that current season.
