2005: Finished second in the 200 breast (2:05.62) at the NAIA Championships ... Also took third in the 100 breast (57.83) ... Was part of the second-place 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
2004: Placed second in both the 100 breast (57.72) and 200 breast (2:09.23) ... Was part of 200 medley relay team that took first place.
WATER POLO: Appeared in 27 matches as a 2005 senior ... Was fourth with 25 goals and also tallied 7 assists and 15 steals ... Third on the team with 35 goals as a 2003 sophomore ... Also had 16 assists and 14 steals.
PALOMAR CC: Spent 2002-03 at Palomar College in San Marcos, Calif. ... Achieved All-American status in 3 individual events and 4 relay events in swimming ... Was runner-up at state meet in 100 breast ... Won 2 conference titles and set record in the 100 breast (57.95) ... Also earned all-conference honors in water polo.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated from Valley Center (Calif.) High in 2002 ... Played 3 years of varsity water polo and swam 4 years... 2-time Valley League Player of the Year in both sports ... Named Valley Center’s Athlete of the Year as a senior ... Scored almost 400 goals in his career ... Won CIF title in 100 breast as a senior.
