Kim Herbert joined the Lancer Athletic Training staff in the spring of 2015, taking over the athletic training responsibilities for women's basketball.
Herbert had previous NCAA Division I experience after holding positions at both D-I Boise State and New Mexico State. At NMSU, Herbert worked primarily with the women's volleyball and equestrian teams for nine years.
After graduating from Azusa Pacific in 2003 with a bachelor's degree in athletic training, Herbert went on to get her master's degree at Boise State and worked with the football, track and field, women's soccer, and tennis teams.
With her Masters of Excercise and Sports Studies degree in hand, Herbert worked as a Sports Medicine Fellow at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., from 2005-06. There she worked with current and future Olympians from the 2008/2012 Olympic Games from the men's and women's weightlifting, women's wrestling and men's gymnastics teams.
Born and raised in San Dimas, Calif., Herbert returned to Southern California and resides in Riverside.
