CBU Athletics

Emily Roberts joined the CBU compliance staff in October 2023. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in History and Political Science from California Baptist University in 2018 and went on to complete her Master’s degree in Education at CBU in 2023. Currently, she works as an Eligibility Officer at CBU, a position she has held since 2023, where she is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the academic performance of student-athletes to determine their eligibility for Division 1 athletics.

During her time as a student, Emily was a standout member of the California Baptist University Dive Team from 2016 to 2019. She achieved remarkable athletic success, including being named RMAC Conference Champion in 2018 for the 1-meter board during her time in Division 2. At the 2018 NCAA D2 National Championships, she placed 5th on the 3-meter board. After transitioning to Division 1, she competed in the WAC Conference Championships in 2019, securing 8th place on the 1-meter board and 2nd place on the Tower event.

Emily is married to Tyler Roberts and is a mother to three children. She resides in Nuevo, California, and is passionate about combining her love for athletics with higher education, particularly at California Baptist University.
