After earning PacWest Player and Freshman of the Year honors in 2014, Marvi Monsalve is back to her old tricks for California Baptist University women's golf. The junior has posted a scoring average less than half a stroke above par, with a 72.33, which ranks her fourth in NCAA Division II and third in the West Region in score vs. par. She produced a standout performance by winning the second tournament of her career at the Dallas Baptist Classic, with a six-under-par 138 over two rounds. She shot four-under to start the tournament and followed that up with a two-under 70 to clinch the title by two strokes. It has given her four rounds or par or better this season.
