Michael Smith had about as big a week as possible, averaging 31.7 points per game to help No. 5 CBU go 3-0 on the week. He finished with a career-high 42 points against No. 22 UC San Diego, just four points off a single-game record and the most points scored by a Lancer since 2004. On Saturday, Smith dished out a career-high eight assists to finish the week averaging 4.0 per game. He finished the week shooting 51.9-percent from the floor, including 57.1-percent from three-point range and averaged 5.7 rebounds per game.
