Brandon Schuster had quite the week at the Mizzou Invite for California Baptist University men's swim/dive, leading the Lancers to a third-place finish as a team. Schuster had seven top-eight finishes in his 10 events on the week, including two top-two finishes and three more in the top six. His 800-yard freestyle relay team won in 6:33.48, while his time of 3:48.29 in the 400 IM broke a school record and meets the NCAA Division I B standard of 3:51.46. He also took sixth in the 200 IM (1:47.89) after a prelim time of 1:47.40, eighth in the 200 breast (2:00.51) and 400-medley relay (3:17.85).
