2005: Chastine will return as a candidate to start at second base for the Lancers.
COACH ADCOCK SAYS: "Jon’s a very efficient defensive player who does a very good job of getting on base. We’ll look to Jon to provide solid defense and get in the game as either a late-inning defensive replacement or a starting second baseman in certain situations."
2004: Played in 50 games, starting 45, as a 2004 junior … Batted .216 (25-for-116) with six doubles and 13 RBI … Had career-high three hits and two doubles against Biola (3/6) … Also had career-best four RBI versus The Master’s College (3/30).
2003: Played in 24 games, starting 11, as a 2003 sophomore … Batted .108 (4-for-37) … Drove in six runs … Went 3-for-4 with three RBI against Concordia (2/18).
2002: Batted .471 (8-for-17) in limited playing time as a 2002 freshman … Played in 15 games, starting two … Scored five runs and had three doubles and six RBI … Went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Vanguard (5/2).
