CLAREMONT, Calif. ? California Baptist had five different men score, but all scored single goals in a 6-5 loss to Pomona Pitzer. The Lancers (19-11) had beaten the Sagehens twice this season already, but struggled in the fourth quarter to find the back of the net. CBU, who this is year, has been dynamic in the final minutes, rebounded in the third quarter after trailing 3-2 at the half to tie the game at five. Pomona scored the only goal in the fourth however, to put the game away.
Jason Bills, David Graves, Josh Harris, Alan Ogden and Ryan Steiger all scored for CBU while Graves was the only Lancer with an assist. Jon Miller recorded eight saves in the loss.
The 20th-ranked Lancers will now host No. 16 Princeton Friday at the Lancer Aquatic Center at 12:30 p.m.
