LOS ANGELES – Diving Coach Jeff Couto had already seen all four of his divers qualify for the NCAA Division II Championships, so on Friday he scheduled a new challenge for his team at the USC Dive Invite.

Zach Parry and Kendall Rummell competed on the one-meter board at the event, which featured Division-I powers USC and Michigan. Parry took fourth in the event, while Rummell finished fifth for the Lancers. Parry posted 467.70 points and Rummell followed with 431.40.

The USC Dive Invite continues Saturday for CBU. The swim team will also be in action with a dual scheduled at Pomona-Pitzer for 2 p.m.Â
