Giusti Named Defender of the Week

RIVERSIDE, Calif. — After helping No. 11-ranked California Baptist University grab its sixth-straight victory last week, Jordan Giusti was named the PacWest Defender of the week Monday.
The senior guard had a CBU career-high five steals to lift the Lancers 84-68 over Cal State East Bay and leads the PacWest with 2.8 steals per game. His 17 steals top the nation. Giusti also finished the night with five assists, four rebounds and eight points.
Giusti and the Lancers head to La Jolla, Calif., for a matchup at UC San Diego on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. CBU then hosts the Ayres Hotels Thanksgiving Classic on Friday and Saturday.
