Emily Schmidt led CBU's efforts off the glass, finishing with nine rebounds.
In the first quarter, the Lancers seemed unstoppable and grabbed a 26-8 lead after the first 10 minutes. CBU scored 10 points before Chaminade could find a bucket, with Meriggioli knocking down two threes and Olaeta driving in four other points in the spurt.
The Silverswords cut the score to 19-8, with two minutes left in the quarter, but CBU closed the quarter on a 7-0 run to hold an 18-point lead at the break.
Momentum stayed in CBU's favor as the run turned into a 14-0 run as Mitchell sparked a 7-0 spurt to open the second. Olaeta and Merrigioli also got in on the action to put CBU up 33-8.

The Silverswords woke up in the second half and made things interesting in the fourth quarter, cutting the margin down into single digits with less than a minute to play, 86-78.
Ram drew two fouls to keep the Lancers in front, but Chaminade hit a three with four seconds left to keep their dreams of their first win of the season alive.
The Silverswords fouled to try to get the ball back, but Ram made her free throw to seal the 90-84 victory for the Lancers.
