RIVERSIDE – Christine Graf reaped Western Athletic Conference All-Freshman Team honors for California Baptist University on Wednesday.
Graf separated herself as one of the top offensive threats for the Lancers and the entire WAC. She ended the conference season ranking second overall among all freshmen with 268 total kills and 2.39 a set. The outside hitter ranked 15th overall in total kills and 18th in per set average. She ranked second in both categories for CBU.
Defensively, Graf ranks fifth among all WAC freshman and 32nd overall with 54 blocks.
Graf eclipsed double-digit kills 13 times this season and logged least 12 kills in seven matches. She posted a season high of 22 in just three sets against Southern Utah on Sept. 20, which is tied for the NCAA-era record in a three-set match.
