The Lancers won half of the matches in their final home dual of the season versus Cal Poly, but the Mustangs used two overtime wins and technical falls to secure a 19-16 victory on Thursday in the Van Dyne Gym.
Schrader secured his 18th win of the year to tie CBU's NCAA Division I era record for wins in a single season, which was first set by Zander Silva last year.
It was a special night in the Van Dyne Gym. Beyond Senior Day, two of the top high school teams in California, Servite and Poway, faced off next to CBU and Cal Poly. Four Lancers: Cooper, Strang, Frank Wyshinski and Ali'i Loyola were honored in a Senior Day ceremony before the dual.
The Lancers will next head to the California Collegiate Open at San Francisco State on Saturday. CBU will look to defend its team championship at the event from 2019. Cal Poly improved its dual record to 3-4 on the year, while CBU moves to 3-7.

That's where the Lancers' seniors Cooper and Strang came in. The duo at 174 and 184 pounds, respectively, got things moving back in the right direction.
